First Quantum Minerals has put up 3 new Zambian adverts on its careers site since 22 October 2026. Two are at Solwezi and one is at Kalumbila, and they ask for very different people.

Linesman, PDS, at Solwezi went up on 22 October and ends on 6 November. It asks for Grade 12, an electrical or line work certificate, a valid manual driving licence and at least two years as a lineman in a mining setting. You should have experience of pole climbing with lineman gear and expect shift work, standby and overtime when needed.

Data Analyser, Wet Plant, S3, also at Solwezi, went up on 29 October and ends on 12 November. It asks for a bachelor's degree in metallurgy or mineral processing and at least 5 years in a large mineral processing plant. You also need at least 2 years of using data analytics at work, and tools such as Python, SQL or Power BI.

Senior Specialist, Mobile Warehouse, at Kalumbila went up on 29 October and ends on 9 November. This person manages the buying team. It asks for a degree in procurement and supply or a related field, a CIPS qualification, paid-up membership of the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply and at least 5 years in supervisory or managerial roles. Experience with the Pronto system is essential.

The linesman and data analyser adverts say all qualifications must be certified by the Zambia Qualifications Authority, so check that yours are before you apply. The dates above are the end dates held by First Quantum's careers site. The adverts don't state a closing hour, so don't leave it to the last day. They don't state pay either. Apply on the careers site itself.

Applying is free and nobody should pay for a job.
